What is WaterGuard?

WaterGuard is a safe and easy to use watertight sleeve that comfortably slips over casts and wounds, enabling them to stay dry during showers and baths. Even patients with an injured arm or leg can put WaterGuard on by themselves!

Developed by an orthopedic surgeon-led team, WaterGuard was designed for patient safety. Medications and ointments stay in, while dirt and moisture stay out and, blood flow is never constricted. Ideal for those recovering from burns and surgeries, such as arthroscopy, as well as protecting stitches and PICC lines for the administration of infusion therapies, such as chemotherapy or antibiotics. Even more, it’s antimicrobial, preventing the growth of infection-causing bacteria.

Its ONE of-a-kind Dual Opening sleeves (for elbow and knee) have a waterproof sealed opening on both ends, enabling patients to pull their hand or foot all the way through
